About the role
We're building the leading platform for Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and we need a sharp, self-driven marketer who can own the entire marketing motion - from research and writing to social media, content strategy, and running our own GEO presence on the OptimizeGEO.ai platform. You'll be our first dedicated marketing hire, which means a ton of ownership and a real shot at building something from scratch.
What you'll own
Content & Writing
- • Own the editorial calendar end-to-end
- • Write blogs, thought leadership pieces, case studies, email campaigns, and website copy
- • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels
GEO - Running Our Own
- • Use OptimizeGEO.ai to manage and optimize our brand's presence across AI-driven search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.)
- • Act as the internal power user and a real proof point for the product
- • Track and report on share of voice and citation performance in AI search engines
Social Media
- • Plan, create, and publish across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels
- • Grow our following and turn content into pipeline
Research & Market Intelligence
- • Track the GEO landscape, competitor activity, and customer trends
- • Turn research into messaging, positioning, and product marketing inputs
Campaigns & Execution
- • Plan and run demand gen campaigns - organic and paid
- • Own the metrics: traffic, MQLs, engagement, share of voice in AI engines
What we're looking for
- • 4–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or a startup environment
- • Exceptional writing skills - long-form and short-form content that doesn't sound AI-generated
- • Familiarity with SEO and genuine curiosity about (or experience with) GEO / AI search visibility
- • Comfortable operating independently - you don't wait to be told what to do next
- • Hands-on with tools: HubSpot or equivalent CRM, social schedulers, analytics platforms, and AI writing tools
- • Data-informed - you know how to measure what you're doing and adjust accordingly
Nice to have
- • Prior experience at an AI or MarTech company
- • Experience building a brand from an early stage
- • Basic design sensibility - can use Canva, Figma, or similar to create simple assets
- • Familiarity with the enterprise sales motion and how marketing supports it
