OptimizeGEO.ai is our flagship product that helps brands stay visible and discoverable in AI-powered answers. Unlike traditional SEO that optimizes for keywords and rankings, OptimizeGEO operationalizes GEO principles ensuring brands are mentioned, cited, and trusted by generative systems (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, etc.) and answer engines (featured snippets, voice search, and AI answer boxes).

This is a senior independent IC role with real responsibility. You'll design and ship features end to end - backend, AI workflows, data, and the product thinking that goes with them - all on your own without any supervision.
Stack: Python, Django, Celery, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, AWS.

What you'll do
Backend.
Build and run the services behind the platform - APIs, data models, async workflows with Celery, Postgres schema and query work, AWS infra, and the production debugging that comes with all of it.
AI features.
Build LLM-driven capabilities: prompt pipelines, response parsing, evaluation logic, citation and brand-mention analysis. Make AI outputs measurable and reliable, not vibes.
Data at scale.
We process millions of prompt-response records across brands, competitors, and historical runs. You'll design systems that hold up, optimize the slow parts, and catch data-quality issues before they reach the dashboard.
Product translation.
Turn fuzzy product problems into working systems. Write the spec when there isn't one. Push back when a feature isn't measurable or worth building.
Agents - Building AI agents and agentic workflows and fully autonomous agents to deploy end to end workflows for clients.
We're looking for
- Strong Python and Django (or equivalent)
- Celery or similar async/background job systems
- PostgreSQL - schema design, query optimization, production debugging
- AWS deployment experience (EC2, RDS, S3, etc.)
- Shipped real LLM-based features - not just API wrappers, but evaluation, structured outputs, prompt iteration
- Comfort with data-heavy systems and basic statistical thinking
- Ability to drive work without detailed specs
- Experience: 10+ years
Nice to have: LLM evaluation frameworks, SEO/search/marketing analytics domain knowledge, ETL pipelines, observability tooling, startup experience.
